Who is cynthia johnson-Smitherman?

She is as vibrant as the colors she wears. She is a devoted mother and a woman of substance. She is focused, ambitious, successful, and inspiring. She is a licensed real estate broker, holding multiple professional designations. She created Emage’ Fine Properties, LLC, and Emage Interiors, a successful, real estate, staging and decorating businesses 25 years ago.

Over her highly successful real estate career, she was distinguished as a million-dollar real estate sales broker, was honored, and recognized by business and professional organizations for her leadership and community involvement.  These recognitions and awards include certification as an REO Real Estate Broker by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and served as the elected President of the Arizona chapter for four years.

Additionally, she was a founding member of the League of  Extraordinary Real Estate Brokers, and a mentor and advisor for new real estate agents. She served as an instructor for the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, certified by the Grand Canyon Minority Development Corporation as a Minority Business Enterprise, received an award from the Business Achievers Coalition for outstanding contribution to Arizona and for promoting success throughout the Phoenix Metro area. 

Cynthia also taught smoking cessation programs for the American Lung Association, the Arizona Tobacco Intervention Skills Organization, and the Arizona Department of Health Services “Ash to Ashes” program.

She currently serves as an advisor to the board of  the "Arizonans Concerned About Cigarette Smoking, Inc". 

Cynthia and her husband William, a retired government executive, live in Chandler Arizona.
